We are very happy to announce that East Fourth Street has recently been re-approved for our license to sell Fairmined Gold in the U.S.. Susan Crow, founder of East Fourth Street Jewelry has been licensed since 2013 when she became an early adopter of the philosophy of having responsible supply chains and began researching how to get her materials more sustainably. She, along with 22 other U. S. jewelers in 2013 were the first to bring Fairmined gold into the U.S. This is very important to the mission of East Fourth Street because we strongly believe in the Fairmined Initiative which is an assurance label that certifies gold from empowered responsible artisanal and small-scale mining organizations.
"Fairmined transforms mining into an active force for good, providing everyone (stakeholders) with a source of Gold To Be Proud Of".
I’m proud of being a Fairmined licensee working with Fairmined Gold, because beautiful jewelry should have a clean beautiful story that speaks of solidarity and global support.

To be licensed by the Alliance for Responsible Mining, jewelers have to agree to not mix Fairmined Gold with their other gold in production or manufacturing. Because of that, when you order a piece of jewelry made from Fairmined Gold, you can be assured that it is 100% Fairmined Gold. In the studio, we keep all of our gold separate from each other so that we can follow the strict regulations of being a license holder for Fairmined Gold.
